- Educational Tourism: While enjoying a holiday on the subtropical islands you are introduced to the history of the former Ryukyu Kingdom, learn about the traditional religion of its people, experience classical dance and music as well as folkmusic and folkdance, and come to understand the social and economic reality of modern Okinawa.
- Vacationing: Windsurfing, paragliding, swimming, scuba diving and snorkeling coral reefs, fishing, kayaking, island hopping, taking a sunset cruise on a sailboat, just hanging out at the beach - many islands, many opportunities. Do you need a break from cold weather? Even in the winter it's warm enough here that you can wear shorts and t-shirt most of the time.
